Juicy summer red fruits on the nose. On the palate this light red is fruit forward, with flavours of Blueberry, red cherry and strawberry.
A varietal typically pressed in to Knightor’s traditional method sparkling wines. However this experimental small batch of Pinot Meunier was instead fermented on the skins to produce a light red wine. A different approach was taken compared to their other red wines, with this one partly undergoing a carbonic maceration resulting in elevated fruit intensity.
Knightor make premium quality, limited production English wines from grapes grown in English vineyards and their own vines at Portscatho and Seaton on the south Cornish coast.
