This wine displays delicate aromas of pear, lemon zest and hedgerow flowers. The palate is dry and soft with crisp grapefruit flavours, delicate cream and a wonderfully textured finish. The grapes were harvested very late in the season, handpicked on the 29th October 2024. It was pristine fruit, showing elegance and intensity: a small batch of top quality Pinot Blanc. 60% fermented in stainless steel, 40% in French oak. The 2 components were blended and bottled 10 months after ageing. Bottled unfiltered.
Knightor make premium quality, limited production English wines from grapes grown in English vineyards and their own vines at Portscatho and Seaton on the south Cornish coast.
