Citrus, candied apple and buttery pastry on the nose. On the palate, flavours of lemon shortbread and crème pâtissière
This opulent blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay was made from the best parcels of Pinot noir and Chardonnay from 2014, which were whole bunch pressed and underwent cool fermentation in stainless steel. This Classic blend was then aged on the yeast lees for over 8 and a half years before being disgorged. The dosage was kept low to showcase the fantastic natural balance of fruit and rich breadiness.
This vintage sparkling displays wonderful aromas of citrus, candied apple and buttery pastry on the nose. On the palate, flavours of lemon shortbread and crème pâtissière combine to create a deliciously complex sparkling that is ideal for celebratory special occasions.
Knightor make premium quality, limited production English wines from grapes grown in English vineyards and their own vines at Portscatho and Seaton on the south Cornish coast.
