Crafted at their Cambridgeshire family winery, fewer than 600 bottles of their 2024 Blanc de Noirs have been made, making it a genuinely rare and personal release.
The Pinot Noir grapes from one of their partner vineyards in Herefordshire, were gently pressed to release only the finest white juice. Made using the traditional method, this Extra Brut, Blanc de Noirs opens with subtle aromas of wild strawberry, red currant, and lemon zest, layered over hints of toasted brioche, almond, and crushed stone. The palate is incisive and bone-dry, driven by vibrant acidity that carries flavors of tart raspberry, and citrus peel. Fine, persistent bubbles lend a creamy yet focused texture, while underlying notes of hazelnut and a faint savory edge add depth. The finish is long, clean, and mineral, leaving impressions of saline, chalk, and a whisper of toast. A precise, structured sparkling wine with both energy and quiet complexity.
