The award-winning, flagship wine of the Hush Heath Estate. 2016 was an excellent year, with good sugars and perfect acidity. Grapes for this single vineyard wine were hand-picked from in October from Hush Heath’s Oast House Meadow (planted in 2002). This wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, followed by a minimum of 31 months ageing on the lees. Appearance: The palest of pinks, with a fine, sustained bead. Nose: Clean and fresh with notes of wild strawberry, lime and redcurrant. Palate: Typically vibrant English acidity combines with ripe orchard and summer berry fruits. A wonderfully long and refreshing finish.
