Balfour Hush Heath Luke’s Pinot Noir 2020 Library Release

We’re very excited to offer a special library release of 2020 Pinot Noirs. 2020 was a fabulous vintage for English & Welsh red wines, producing some of the ripest fruit ever seen in these countries. Luscious and textural red Pinot Noirs were produced by many vineyards. We’ve assembled a selection of some of the finest examples, the vast majority of which aren’t available to purchase anywhere else. The wines have been carefully cellared in temperature controlled conditions for the past five years and are now in beautiful form.

Luke’s Pinot Noir was named after the Producer’s eldest son. It’s a bright ruby red wine, with a delicately perfumed nose of vanilla, leather, red berry, raspberry and strawberry. On the palate, there’s a spicy vanilla touch from gentle oak maturation, accompanied by soft tannins. It is wonderfully ripe, displaying typical cool-climate Pinot Noir characters of cherry and raspberry. A long, fresh finish ensues.
