Knightor Winery Pinot Noir 2019

A pale red Pinot Noir, the colour is deceptive, not revealing the powerful red fruits hidden within. The wine is full of wild red fruit characters on the nose. The palate is soft, with intense red cherry and gentle spice from the time spent on oak. The perfect red for summer, ideal with a BBQ. Just the ripest Pinot Noir was used for this light red. The grapes were crushed and fermented partly in tank and partly in barrel. Throughout the ferment regular pump overs were conducted to extract a little more colour and weight. The oaked proportion of the blend then spent a further 12 months in oak before being bottled.Bottled unfiltered and unfined.
