Honeysuckle and blossom aromas abound in the Rivey Hill, with soft ripe pear flavours leading to a finish of ripe pear and honeydew melon.
Initially planted in 1972, Chilford Hall occupies 20 acres of free draining “flinty” soil which overlays chalk. Since its first planting, the vineyard grew in size to cover more than 20 acres, comprised of 9 different vine varieties each chosen to perfectly match the climate and soil conditions of the estate. Sadly, the vineyard is not currently producing wine but we are fortunate to have some stocks from before production ceased.
