|This month’s issue focuses on three exceptional value English Sparkling Wines, two at under £20 per bottle.|
|Wild and wonderful|
We are delighted to offer this slightly different take on English Sparkling Wine from Nutbourne Vineyard in West Sussex, the “Nutty Wild” NV. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it is a young, light, natural wine only fermented to the level of wild yeasts and without dosage. It is lower alcohol than most, at a mere 10%, and has a beautiful rose-gold tint to it. Gorgeously refreshing and moreish, with strawberry & red apple aromas and red fruit & Florida grapefruit on the palate, it is excellent value at £19.99 per bottle.
Rich, ripe, and refreshing, for under £20
Another West Sussex sparkling gem, we are pleased to offer readers a special price of £19.99 (normal price £22.99, use code FEB20ALB). Albourne Estate’s Brut MV has delightful panettone-like aromas of sweet baked bread, dried apricots, nuts and candied citrus peels, lifted by typical ESW crisp acidity.

60 months on lees for less than £30
From the heart of Berkshire, Stanlake Park Wine Estate’s flagship wine, “Stanlake Brut NV” (£29.99), shows a complex bouquet of dried apple, pear, brioche and brazil nut notes. Velvety and creamy on the palate, this wine is fabulously complex and lingers long on the tongue.
