Chapel Down Flint Dry 2019
Green apple, pear and kiwi on the nose, with a zesty citrus tang on the palate
Chapel Down Flint Dry is an aromatic white wine with aromas of green apple, pear and kiwi. The palate is zesty and fresh, leading to a smooth refreshing finish. Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Kent, Sussex and Essex. Grapes are grown predominantly on single and double guyot pruning systems, on varied soils including, chalk, clay and loam soils. Each variety was whole-bunch pressed and vinified separately at cool temperatures. 50% of the blend underwent malolactic fermentation before the wine was blended, clarified and bottled in February 2019.
