Yotes Court Best Turned Out Pinot Meunier Rosé 2022

Vibrant and fruity, this delicate, Provence style, light pink rosé wine has aromas of baked red berries, watermelon & peach. On the palate it has gentle notes of strawberry yoghurt, leading to a cranberry and crisp citrus finish.

The Pinot Meunier vines are planted in one of Yotes Court’s lowest blocks where the land flattens out. The fertile soil with a high clay component provides the vines with the nutrients they require to produce a large leaf canopy that helps to ripen the fruit. The grapes were hand-harvested in peak condition in October 2022.

And the name?

This is a term that refers to the prize awarded to the horse that looks the best in the parade ring before a race; a horse in peak fitness and with a beautiful shiny coat. The wine? Well, who doesn’t think a rosé is a thing of beauty?
