Black Chalk Classic 2022

Black Chalk Classic has a wonderful precise fruit focus and the palate is textured and full. By avoiding malolactic fermentation the wine retains a fresh edge that is a hallmark for Black Chalk wines, while judicious use of a small amount of oak adds subtle richness. The Classic is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and, post disgorgement, is held for 6 months on cork before being released.

Black Chalk is a wine proud of its English heritage, with roots firmly planted in the chalklands of southern England. Black Chalk was used by the old masters to sketch ideas onto canvas before painstakingly creating a masterpiece.
