“Yield 20% up on Average. Good ripeness levels given the rain and cold months of July and August.We moved the picking around a lot this year to avoid the rain but also, so we retained a good level of acidity in the wines.Acid levels well low this year at version.I would saw this year was one of the best years I have seen for Chardonnay. The balance in the fruit coming of the Everflyht field was the best we have produced. And the early base wines in the winery have been some of the best I have tasted in England.”
