Simpsons Wine Estate Canterbury Rosé 2022

Canterbury Rose is delicately pink, with a very fine bead, subtle blossom notes with fresh wild strawberry and rosehip nuances. Zesty pink grapefruit warms the palate alongside hints of mandarin, which is layered with delicate red berry fruit, adding depth and complexity. 

Pinot Noir grapes were carefully harvested and gently pressed to protect the pure, primary red fruit flavours and aromatics. The juice was then cold settled in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks prior to primary fermentation. The wine progressed through full malolactic fermentation and then rested in tank prior to tirage in spring 2023.
