Litmus Wines Orange Bacchus 2022

£19.99

12% ABV
Hazelnut, fennel and marzipan on the nose, complex & savoury with a long finish

Pale gold in colour the wine displays hazelnut, fennel and marzipan characters on the nose. The palate has a touch of white pepper spice and is incredibly generous and complex, with a gripping astringency and smooth, long finish. Enjoy with oily meats and spicy dishes. Litmus Orange 2022 is produced from from 100% Bacchus. The Bacchus was fermented and remained for four weeks on skins without sulphur dioxide.

John Worontschak is the chief wine maker, who has developed the Litmus wines range. John has been making English wine since 1988. In 2010 John decided to create the first Litmus wine, Element 20; the concept was to move away from the traditional fruity and sometimes one dimensional English wine styles. The Litmus range is a culmination of John’s experience and the wines are designed to highlight the very best of cool climate English style wines, promoting balance, complexity and length of flavour.
