New Hall Vineyards Signature 2021
White peach, red apple, jasmine, lychee and rosewater and a peppery finish
New Hall’s Signature blend is aromatic and perfumed in style, a nod to the wines of Alsace. It is dry but has lovely ripe fruit character, with peach, red apple and lychees showing, together with more floral notes of jasmine and rosewater. New Hall was one of the pioneers that re-started the English wine industry in the second half of the twentieth century. In 1969 the first vines were planted at New Hall Farm by Bill and Sheila Greenwood: 850 Reichensteiner vines were purchased at auction at the cost of 23p each. New Hall continued to expand and innovate over the next 50 years, and, with significant recent investment in the vineyards and winery, are in the form of their lives.
