The fruit is sourced from Kits Coty and Wittersham, Kent, together with Chelmsford, Essex. This wine is always made by selecting the best fruit from the best vineyards each year, to give the richest and ripest style of Bacchus. A third of the hand-picked grapes were crushed prior to pressing to release more aroma precursors while the balance was the whole bunch pressed to maintain purity in phenolic profile. This limited-production wine has intense aromas of gala melon, pineapple and freshly cut grass followed by a palate dominated by tropical fruit and granny smith apple. The crisp acidity balances the richness of this wine, giving a harmonious and long finish.
