English Rosé Wines
Lyme Bay Shoreline Rosé 2019
Redcurrant, rosehip, strawberries, fresh acidity
This delightful rosé has complex aromas of cherries, hedgerow rosehip, strawberry and redcurrant. On the palate this wine has good length and mouthfeel, with a refreshing and balanced acidity and is driven by redcurrant, cranberry and strawberry flavours. The wine was bottled early to maintain the fresh fruit aromas. Lyme Bay is a small, dedicated West Country company passionate about producing delicious and award-winning English Wines, Fruit Wines, Ciders, Meads and Liqueurs from their home in Devon’s beautiful Axe Valley. 26,000 vines were planted in 2009 and 2010 within a stone’s throw of their winery. They also source grapes from a select group of the best growers in the South of England, believing that truly special wines are born from grapes with diverse backgrounds.
