English Sparkling Wines
Highweald Brut Reserve NV
Complex aromas of acacia and orchard fruit, with flavours of brioche, white apricot, peach and almond
Light golden in colour with a fine persistent mousse, Highweald’s signature wine is refreshing and opulent in style, unfurling in the glass with complex aromas of acacia and orchard fruit, accompanied by flavours of brioche, white apricot, peach and almond. Chardonnay brings crisp fruit and freshness, while the Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier add depth and roundness, with wonderful length.
This estate-grown traditional method sparkling wine goes through alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and oak, with a second fermentation in bottle. The multi-vintage blend spends approximately 2 years ageing on lees prior to disgorgement, and a minimum of 3 months bottle maturation before release.
Highweald Wine Estate was established in 2016, with the planting of 120,000 vines in the beautiful Sussex High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Their first release in 2018 was awarded Best Wine in First Year of Production, as well as the English Sparkling Trophy and the Non-Vintage English Sparkling Trophy at the 2022 International Wine Challenge.
