Mysterious and captivating, Afanc is The Dell’s aromatic Welsh white wine inspired by the legendary lake dwelling beast of Welsh folklore. Said to lurk beneath the pristine waters of mountain lakes, the Afanc would prey upon those foolish enough to fall in. Powerful yet elegant, this wine captures that same sense of depth and intrigue.

Crafted from a blend of aromatic white grape varieties grown across their two vineyard sites, Afanc brings together Solaris from The Dell with Phoenix, Reichensteiner and Schönburger from their older vineyard at Pen y Clawdd. This careful blending creates complexity, balance and vibrant cool climate freshness.

On the nose, expect lifted passion fruit aromatics with hints of wildflower and jasmine. The palate reveals flavours of elderflower, ripe pear and stone fruit, supported by bright acidity and a clean mineral finish.
