Halfpenny Green Wine Estate Late Harvest Vintage 2022

Grapes left very late on the vine in an exceptional autumn created highly concentrated sugar levels. Soft and luscious honeyed flavours combine with ripe apricot to make a delicious dessert wine. Serve chilled as an aperitif or alongside fresh fruit or a sweet dessert.

The first ½ acre at Halfpenny Green Wine Estate was planted in 1983 by the late farmer Martin Vickers. By 1991 a further 22 acres were added and today the vineyard totals almost 30 acres, making it one of the largest vineyards in the UK. Halfpenny Green Wine Estate is situated 250ft above sea level in well-sheltered south facing slopes, with sixteen different grape varieties thriving in its light, sandy free-draining soil.
