Restaurant 22, Cambridge
Restaurant Twenty-Two is the debut restaurant of partners Sam Carter and Alex Olivier. Sam’s menu is inspired by his many years working at Michelin level at some of the country’s top restaurants – and now he has a Michelin Star of his own. But the real inspiration comes from the ingredients delivered each day. They use the best local suppliers and present a regularly changing menu that reflects the most seasonal produce the area has to offer.
This local sourcing ethos is applied to the wine list too, and we work with sommerlier Alfie Scott to list exceptional English wines both on the main wine list and the pairing menus.
Pine Restaurant, near Newcastle
Restaurant Pine is the debut restaurant of Northumberland born Cal Byerley and partner Siân Buchan. It has been awarded a Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star. Set in an old cow barn, the restaurant offers an intimate setting where you can admire the sloping Northumberland landscape. They offer a tasting menu using ingredients foraged from the Northumberland countryside or grown within our onsite kitchen garden.
Sommelier Vanessa Stoltz has curated a fabulous wine list that includes many English Sparkling Wines and English still wines. She offers an entirely English wine pairing flight as an option alongside the more international pairing flight.
The Manor Barn, Harlton
The Manor Barn in Harlton is a unique and exclusive venue perfect for weddings, parties or corporate events. The barn is over 350 years old, built in a traditional wooden tythe style
They have added several of our English wines to their wedding wine list, including an option for an all-English line-up. What better way to celebrate a wedding in a quintessentially English location than with superb English wines?
