English Sparkling Wines
Radlow Hundred English Brut NV
A nose of grapefruit and honey, with notes of fresh melon and apple
The refreshing light golden sparkle is complemented by a grapefruit and honey nose. A balanced blend of soft fruit is accompanied by fresh melon, apple notes and free flowing bubbles on the palate of this glorious Herefordshire sparkling wine. The label reflects the cold winters of 1800s, which would see the local River Wye turn to a spectacular ice rink, enjoyed immensely by the locals.
Radlow Hundred have been farming for eight generations. Their estate falls within the beautiful rolling landscape previously known as the Radlow Hundred, an administrative area noted in the Doomsday Book. Their small batch English Wine is a commemorative nod to the farmscape’s history and surrounding community.
