Highweald’s signature rosé has an intense, seductive aroma of English summer berries and wild peonies, and a delicate mousse. Complex and concentrated flavours are accompanied by creamy, soft textures, balanced with refreshing acidity and bright red fruit character.
Hand-picked, estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes are carefully selected and pressed as whole bunches. This traditional method sparkling rosé undergoes cool, gentle alcoholic and malolactic in stainless steel, with a secondary fermentation in bottle. This multi-vintage blend rests for approximately 2 years on lees prior to disgorgement, and a further 3 months bottle maturation before release.
Highweald Wine Estate was established in 2016, with the planting of 120,000 vines in the beautiful Sussex High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Their first release in 2018 was awarded Best Wine in First Year of Production, as well as the English Sparkling Trophy and the Non-Vintage English Sparkling Trophy at the 2022 International Wine Challenge.
