We think English wines are world-class: this event will put this to the test by pitting 4 English wines against 4 equivalent wines from France. You’ll taste each pair blind, so no bias will be involved! Two pairs of sparkling wines, a pair of whites and a pair of reds will be tested to see if the upstart, youthful English wine industry really can compete for quality and value with the venerable French vignerons. Whatever the outcome, it’ll be an intriguing night with 8 exceptional wines to savour!
