This wine is the colour of crushed strawberries and displays constantly rising small bubbles. On the nose – redcurrants and rose water, with some lees character coming through. The taste is gentle, soft mousse; light, fresh and fruity – red fruits, strawberries and red-currants; sufficient but not aggressive acidity. A dry finish with good length. Wythall Estate is situated not far from Ross‑on‑Wye in rural Herefordshire, one of the finest agricultural growing areas in England.
