Sharpham have been producing wine for nearly twenty five years from carefully selected grape varieties grown on their sheltered slopes overlooking the River Dart. Traditional and new world techniques are employed resulting in a range of distinctive and carefully balanced wines. The grapes for this wine were hand harvested in late September before being crushed into the press. They ferment ‘free run’ juice in stainless steel tanks and leave to mature for 8 months. It has produced a light and dry white wine that shows aromas of green apple, gooseberry and elderflower. The palate is very fresh and clean with a citrus driven acidity.
