Nyetimber Classic Cuvée 2010 Magnum

An outstanding Nyetimber Classic Cuvée, from the last year that they declared vintage English Sparkling Wines before moving to MV. It is also the last to be predominantly Pinot Noir. With over 3 years on lees, and now 9 years under cork, this is ageing beautifully – as always with larger format bottles, a little more slowly than a normal bottle, so the fruit remains fresh and vibrant, while the secondary aromas of honey, hay and mushroom are beginning to intermingle. Plenty of red apple, blackcurrant and ripe lemon mixed with brioche can be detected on both the nose and palate.
