Produced from the oldest & largest Bacchus plantation in England, this internationally acclaimed medium dry wine shows intense aromas of elderflower, apple & conference pear. On the palate, tropical fruit flavours of melon & pineapple prevail leading to an elegant, crisp finish.
New Hall was one of the pioneers that re-started the English wine industry in the second half of the twentieth century. In 1969 the first vines were planted at New Hall Farm by Bill and Sheila Greenwood: 850 Reichensteiner vines were purchased at auction at the cost of 23p each. New Hall continued to expand and innovate over the next 50 years, and, with significant recent investment in the vineyards and winery, are in the form of their lives.
