Ripe red & black fruits and long finish
A medium dry red with oodles of both red and black fruit flavours, this wine is soft and juicy on the palate. Perfect with red meats and game.
The first ½ acre at Halfpenny Green Wine Estate was planted in 1983 by Martin Vickers, a farmer, who still runs the vineyard today with his family. By 1991 a further 22 acres were added and today the vineyard totals almost 30 acres. Halfpenny Green Wine Estate is situated 250ft above sea level in well-sheltered south facing slopes, with light, sandy free-draining soil.
