Davenport Vineyards Horsmonden Dry White 2019
One of England’s most celebrated white wines paired with a classic Lancashire Bomb, in a presentation gift box.
Davenport’s well-known blend of Ortega, Bacchus, Siegerrebe, Faber and Huxelrebe, the Horsmonden Dry, has been produced every year since 1993. The wine has an aromatic fruit character and background of complex flavours – aromatic peach and floral fruit with a background of yeasty flavour and a soft broad palate. 10% of the blend was fermented in large old oak foudres producing no hint of oak in the flavour, but a more rounded feel.
Shorrock’s Lancashire Bomb cheese is a classic, famous, wonderful creamy cheese presented in traditional black wax. The Lancashire Bombs are matured over two years creating a very creamy and full flavoured taste and texture.
