Compton Green Vineyard is a 5.5-acre vineyard, 2 miles north of Newent in Gloucestershire. It is set amidst beautiful rolling countryside on deep, well-drained soil, which is ideal for vines. The vineyard began life in 1991 with the first planting of 2.5 acres of Madeleine Angevine. Since then a range of varieties have been added for both red and white wines. Their Estate Special Reserve White has incredibly ripe stone fruit and melon flavours, with a pleasant slightly, off-dry finish.
