The nose is intense with sappy, herbal aromas. The palate is dry in texture with complex caramelised citrus and liquorice root flavours. The ripest Bacchus grapes are sourced from Sandhurst vineyards in Kent and grown on clay soil. Orange Bacchus was crushed into the tank for maceration in 2017. Wild fermentation took place for 3 weeks on skins in stainless steel tanks with regular punch downs. Sulphites were added and the wine was put into old oak barrel for eight months
