Chapel Down English Rose 2021

Chapel Down English Rosé 2021 is a delicate rosé which epitomises English summer with aromas of strawberry and cream. Redcurrants and floral notes on the palate lead to a crisp, refreshing finish. Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Kent, Sussex and Essex. Grapes are grown predominantly on single and double guyot pruning systems, on varied soils including, chalk, clay and loam soils. The fruit was whole-bunch pressed with the majority of the colour coming from the Rondo and Regent rather than from skin maceration. The wine was vinified at cool temperatures to keep the lightness and freshness to a maximum.
