Camel Valley wines consistently win medals at both national and international level. A second generation winemaker is hard at work at Camel Valley. Sam Lindo, a maths graduate who had seemed destined for a career in the city, instead decided to make his life in Cornwall and returned to the family farm, where he had grown up, in 2002. Their Rose, a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Bacchus, is a delicate, dry delight, with red fruit aromas that manage to be both subtle but intense. An ideal wine to savour on a summer’s afternoon or evening, on its own or with food.
