Handpicked grapes from Hush Heath’s finest Chardonnay blocks were blended to create this unique sparkling Blanc de Blancs, comprised of cuvées from both the 2012 and 2013 harvests. With zero dosage, it is believed to be the first of its kind in England! 12 months in old French Burgundy oak, coupled with an extended lees aging, results in a fragrant nose and a rich palate, with a prolonged, elegant finish; full of minerality. The wines come from the 400-acre estate in Kent of the Balfour-Lynns, enveloped in ancient oak woodland. To turn his dream into reality Balfour-Lynn was helped by Stephen Skelton MW using his extensive experience with English vineyards. This wine is part of the Winemaker’s Collection.
