Effervescent, buzzing with green apple, pear and lemon zest flavours
A fantastic value “Blanc de Noirs”, from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, the Chancellor is made to reflect the softer side of sparkling Brut wine. It is a pale straw in colour, effervescent in nature and singing with green apple, pear and lemon zest flavours. Initially planted in 1972, the vineyard is set out over 20 acres of free-draining “flinty” soil which overlays chalk. These soil conditions are similar to those found in the Champagne region of France which makes it ideal for the production of sparkling wines.
